Ari Dane's "Venice Sci-Fi"
From the moment I finished recording Venice Sci-Fi I intended to create an accompanying visual presentation. I did not procrastinate...wait a minute! (rim shot)... Life, moving, computers crashing, and budgetary restraints did not deter me...OK, maybe a little bit... So almost four years later...
Assuming you've edited, sorted and photo shopped a few hundred possible photographs and you finally get to the point of knowing what you want to see and hear... then... creating a musical, photographic and manipulated images, slide show master-piece should be easy... right?... WRONG!!!
Yeah, if you just have a bunch of pictures and the order and timing don't really matter and you hit "random" and then "create" it doesn't take all that much effort in any one of a number of video editing programs and the outcome is usually acceptable...but...if you actually want/try/require to sync those twisted little images to the lyric in a song...welcome to the Twi-light Zone...or at least the Venice Sci-Fi version....Oh well, I'm done tinkering with it and ready to share...
When you see these photographs and images I think you'll begin to understand why this and the other songs on Venice Sci-Fi practically wrote themselves.
I know you'll enjoy this display so click on the link and please feel free to comment, share and pass it along. Ari
